Selenite, like clear quartz and amethyst, are what I call the all encompassing stone.  Selenite is associated with the crown, third eye, and solar plexus chakras.  Selenite clears, calms, and cleanses.  It has a powerful and peaceful energy, great for meditation.  It also is self cleansing and helps to cleanse and amplify energy from other stones.
